The body of the tankard is decorated with two narrow bands of gilded abstract vegetal ornament around the neck and base, separated by a wider band that features three repoussé medallions alternating with three bosses. Each medallion depicts a standing nude female: one of the nudes appears in an interior holding a dagger to her chest; another holds a sword and a man's head and stands beside a female companion; the third holds an elongated arrow with a blindfolded cupid at her feet. The cast handle consists of a clawed bird's foot grasping a ball at the base, followed by a satyr mask, a bound female nude, and, surmounting the handle, the bust of a warrior. The lid, a later addition, bears a wreath with a series of initials and the date 1639.

This white porcelain jar has an octagonal body and is decorated with vignettes in underglaze cobalt blue on the upper part of the shoulder. Its recessed base, created by removing clay from the bottom, retains traces of fine sand support. This angular bottle was shaped using a mold and has a strong sheen. A large number of cracks and contaminants, however, have darkened the surface. The clay is well sintered, forming a sturdy body.
Circular tsuba, made of iron. It has two holes in the middle. Two figures, Kanzan and Jittoku, are carved on the lower right corner. Kanzan, who holds a scroll on his hand, and Jittoku, who holds a bloom stick and pointing to the sky, are looking upward. The two figures are carved slightly higher than the surface. On the back, there is the moon partially obscured by clouds. Gold and silver alloy inlays are applied to the moon and the clouds. Gold is also inlayed in their eyes, parts of the garments, and Kanzan's scroll. Shakudô (copper-gold alloy) is inlayed in Jittoku's bloom and his jacket collars.

There are mountains lined with trees and houses; as you go further, they become smaller. There is a single tree that dominates the left side of the hanging scroll, blocking houses behind it. It stands upon one of the hills that line the coast of a river. There is an inscription in the top left of the hanging scroll as well as a signature and stamp in the top and bottom left of the scroll.

"Lonely Fisherman at Autumn River is oriented horizontally to provide the breadth of the river and emphasizes the softness of the mountains’ width as opposed to an imposing verticality...The main visual cue of the season in the piece is the seasonal poem of autumn, followed to the left by Itsuun’s signature and seal in red in the upper right-hand corner. A more subtle suggestion of autumn are the birds in a migratory formation just above the surface of the lake... The only separation between the sky and the river in the painting is the tall tree just to the right of the center of the painting that provides a focal point, but even then, the void of the water’s surface leaks into the edge of the mountain, and even lies within the outlines of the village..."
A bearded man with a halo and wearing ecclesiastical vestments appears rapt in ecstasy in the upper third of this painting. He stands on a cloud beneath an elaborate baldachin with his eyes turned upward. A stag with a cross between its antlers lies at his feet on the figure's right while a putto sits at his left. Two more putti hover to the left and right of the man, holding a red curtain behind him. This scene is surrounded on three sides by dense painted decoration composed primarily of vegetal motifs, which is complemented by the exuberant scrolling foliage and fish scale patterns of the gilded frame. A cartouche bearing a Latin inscription identifying the standing figure is located near the bottom of the painted surface.

In this hanging scroll, Rosetsu depicts an owl perched on a rock in front of a large moon hanging low in the sky. The soft washes and quick brushstrokes used in the image create an overall sense of airiness, but maintain a clear sense of naturalism in depicting the owl's anatomy.
